Travel lovers Adam and Sarah incorporated their passion for exploring into their wedding jewelry. Adam surprised his fiancé with a custom engagement ring with a hidden compass mounted underneath the diamond. He was also a hands-on participant in inscribing the geographic coordinates of their proposal location into his own wedding band.

THE TRAVEL LOVERS
Over the years, Hunsinger has been commissioned to craft many engagement rings and wedding bands, which he says is fulfilling on many levels.
“Working with couples on crafting their wedding jewelry is an awesome experience. I get to help them create something beautiful and special for the person who means the most to them, which is what inspired me to become a jeweler in the first place. But I also get to spend time with some really interesting people during a very happy time in their lives.”
Over dinner and drinks on several occasions, this adventurous couple celebrated their impending nuptials with Hunsinger and his wife. They shared stories about their travels and plans for the future. They also shared a photo of themselves taken at the time of their engagement and wrote this sentiment in a thank you card, complete with wise words from honest Abe.
“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.”—Abraham Lincoln
“Thank you for making our engagement ring mean something more than an inanimate symbol. Instead you helped create an eloquent symbol of our joined lives.”—Adam & Sarah
